Jay was born and raised in Kamloops, BC. In 1985 Jay married his wife Angel and soon after they moved to the Lower Mainland to begin a family and start new ventures. For 15 years Jay was the driving force in building a very successful chain of sporting goods stores. Angel worked part time, but devoted most of her time to their family, the kids school and church activities. 

Having spent most of their holidays throughout the years at the family cottage on the Shuswap. The desire to move back to the interior was always there, so when the opportunity arose to join forces with his cousin Paul in 1999, it was an easy decision for him and his family. Jay and Angel along with their 4 daughters (Whitney, Vanessa, Julia and Haley) are very excited about living in the Magical Shuswap. The whole family enjoys skiing, snow boarding, boating..... all that the Shuswap has to offer.

Brenda, her husband Dave, and their 3 children  relocated here from Swift Current, Sask. in 1988.   The Beauty of the Shuswap area and the people they have met over the years, make them proud to call Salmon Arm home.
